If you are interested in coaching in our upcoming Allstars, please pick up a form at the concession stand. It needs to be filled out completely and returned to the concession stand. Coaches chosen will be announced at closing day ceremonies on November 15th.

Please do not park in the grassy area or in the drive. Any vehicles that are not parked in a designated parking spot at the fields and/or the school are subject to towing without further notice by Gateway Services at owners expense.

Coaches and team moms it is very important that you attend this meeting - please put this date on your calendar.

Submitted by Kim at Thu Nov 15 09:15:07 2007 : Coaches - please make sure to check the scoreboard as our playoff games are winding down to see if your team continues on to the Friday night and Saturday games. Also please let all children on your team know that our Allstar tournament will be held in January. Allstar tryouts will be November 26th and 27th. All children will need a completed allstar application filled out and turned in to the allstar coach on the first night. These forms can be found at the concession stand. Submitted by Kim at Wed Oct 31 08:14:25 2007 : Playoff Schedules have been posted online. Playoff games begin November 5th - there will be no week night practices after November 1st except for the Under 6 division. If you are an Under 4 or Under 6 team you will go by your original game schedule.

Submitted by Kim at Fri Aug 31 09:23:25 2007 : Coaches and Team Moms - CSA has some exciting news. FGCU will be holding a Development Clinic at our fields on Sunday, September 9th. Please check the "FGCU Development Clinic" link for more information. Get with all your kids and see who can attend. RSVP is required prior to Wednesday, September 5th. We will also be their guest during their home game on Friday, September 7th. CSA will have 4 teams scrimmaging at half time. Please make plans to attend and cheer on the CSA kids. Let your team know! Submitted by Kim at Tue Apr 24 12:34:27 2007 : Coaches - starting April 28th we will begin collecting your player evaluations. Please make a copy of your roster and use the ratings column for this information. You will find the rating guidelines at the bottom of your roster. When you do your ratings - please rate the children against all the players in your division, not just your team. This will help us during Fall team divisions. Also, please pencil in jersey numbers for each child.

Submitted by Kim at Tue Aug 29 13:12:35 2006 : For those of you coaches who had your practice cancelled due to the storm the fields will be open for any make up practices on Saturday, although goals will be unavailable. These practices are strictly on your own time and will not be scheduled through the office. Stay safe and we'll see you out at the fields soon.

Submitted by Scott at Thu Oct 20 10:20:35 2005 : Due to Hurricane Wilma, all games are cancelled for this weekend. Practice will go on for tonight, Thursday, but keep an eye on the website and hotline (561-6503) for updates on when practices will resume after the storm. Please also be advised that we will be coming to you during practices soon for some information regarding the upcoming playoffs and player ratings.

Submitted by Scott at Wed Aug 24 15:56:25 2005 : Due to Tropical Storm Katrina, we are going to postpone the coaches clinic until next weekend, September 3rd. We will shoot for 9:00 at the soccer fields, and just try to work around the folks there for the optional practices. It shouldn't be too busy, so we think we'll be all right.

Submitted by Scott at Wed Aug 24 12:43:47 2005 : Coaches -- The Coaches clinic has been moved to the Gateway Charter High School. We will still start at 9:00 a.m., but due to the weather, we have moved things indoors. To get to the school from the soccer park, just turn left onto the road in front of the soccer park, and then turn left at the 7-11. The school is on your right just before yu get to Daniels Rd.

If you signed up at registration to help in one of these areas, you were probably placed with your child's team as a volunteer. We had a few more team mom offers than we could use, but overall the response was great. Thank you. We are having a Coach and Team Mom Meeting on Tuesday, August 16th at 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church (across the street from the soccer fields). We will be passing out your rosters and schedules at that time as well as covering some important information regarding the coach's clinic and the fall fund-raiser. We have some volunteers making phone calls to inform you of the meeting, so please don't call the office until the 12th or so if you still haven't heard from anyone. Thanks for stepping up to the plate, (a baseball reference in soccer?) as we couldn't do this without you.
